Cinematography - Extension task

Rebecca
The opening scene starts off with mysterious music causing enigma codes which leaves the audience thinking and wondering whats going to happen. At the start there wasn't much camera movement. However, there are many transitions especially the dissolve which takes you to the next clip. it is clear to see that this is a 1940s film as it was shot in black and white which at the time was the real deal. after the casts introduction names come up as well as the movie title it self, a post production voice over sound was added on top on the clip. and the clip was interesting at it used crane shot to establish the setting and it used mediam to long shot for the intro.

Back to the Future III
The opening scene was scene from the previous film which is designed to make the audience remember what happened before.  At the start there wasn't much camera movements because the camera was mounted onto something. The opening scene contains a lot of close-ups revealing the facial expressions of the actors and the protagonist. This causes tension in the scene which is conventionally known as action codes. It also contained fast paced editing which in the 40's lacked of.
