Top Three Media Awards Nominations

Not Afraid
This music is one of my favourite from the media awards ceremony simply because it is my friends video and because it was edited very well. Its owner (Hussein) won an award for best actor produced this Eminem music video track. Its fast paced editing gave visceral pleasures in the audience and generated lots of hype between the crowds. The camera work very unique due to the fact that the camera wasn't at one stop but was constantly moving giving the influence of action. What also added the proffestionalsim to the music was the emotional narrative. The story was about a boxer dealing with money debt then has to train hard to win his boxing match... this was introduced with a flashback. What made this video stand out is when the artist and the boxer come together and meet face to face.

Tic Tac Toe
An amazing short art house film that took the crime genre on board and met its demands effortlessly. One of the main reasons why i fell in love and was very engaged with this clip is because of its professional use of cinematography. Its low angle camera shots and point of view shot gave it the edge when it came to camera movement. Equally the editing was amazing, the use of shots gives it a hollywood style. The fast paced editing was making it even better and very pleasing to the eye, you could say it contained some action codes as the clips were stimulant. Finally the sound track used seemed like it was created just for this short film as it fits the clips and its pace (parallel sound).

My City
This is a prime example of the amazing work created for the art house genre. Its impressive use of GoPro cameras enhanced the quality of the film. The use of props such as a very expensive car made it very unique and well thought out.  The camera movements played a big role in reinforcing the planning as it used the correct pans and tilts at the right time.
